We invite you to the Baltic 2014 conference in Warnemuende

The urban railway connects Rostock with Warnemuende. In Warnemuende there are two urban railway stations: „Warnemuende Werft“ which is located close to the conference centre „Technologiezentrum Warnemuende“ where the colloquium takes place and „Warnemuende“ which is the end of the line and closer to the IOW. The registration and the Icebreaker-Party will take place there on the 8th of September.

If you are staying in Warnemuende we recommend to walk either to the IOW or the Technologie Zentrum Warnemuende. The distance between both locations is less than 1.5 km. If you are staying in Rostock please use public transport to get to Warnemuende.

Ticket information

You can either buy single tickets (1.80 €) or a weekly pass (17,50 €). Single tickets have to be validated before you enter the train (orange boxes) for local trains (S-Bahn); and once inside for the trams. You can travel around Rostock City and to Warnemünde with these tickets.

Tickets can be bought at ticket machines of the Deutsche Bahn, at the tram stations at ticket machines (RSAG ticket machines) or inside the trams (single tickets only, already validated).

Timetables

The S-Bahn operates in intervals of at least 15 minutes at daytimes. Tram and busses usually operate more often. We suggest to use either the RSAG or Deutsche Bahn timetable search to for a precise information on your personal route.
