Ship operational planning
Dear colleagues,
the deadline for requesting ship time aboard a medium research vessel for 2009 is 15 January 2008. Please review the details, procedures and dates available for “medium research vessels” in the attached manual.
Requests for ship time in 2010 on the research ships “Meteor” and “Maria S. Merian” can now be submitted through the German Research Foundation Senate Commission for Oceanography’s web site at http://www.dfg-ozean.de/de/. When filing a request, the request form (including cover page, schedule, station planning and map) is absolutely necessary, as stated in the manual.
