SPACES SGD: SPACES – SGD Groundwater / Seawater interactions along the South African south coast and its effects on sustainable coastal and water resource management, TP - C

Sub-Project 3 aims to assess the effects of submarine groundwater discharche (SGD) as direct terrestrial impacts on the structure and function of benthic marine biota off the South African coast. Groundwater seeps induce physiological effects on marine species and thus influence the diversity of benthic biota.
