SECOS II-3: Processes: SECOS II - Biogeochemische Prozesses an der Sediment-Wasser Grenzfläche

In diesem WP werden die Informationen über Habitate durch deren Funktionalität ergänzt. Daher ist eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit WP2 aus dem IOW notwendig. Prozesse wie advektives Pumpen, Durchspülen von Sedimenten, durch Sturm induzierte Erosion und Anoxia wurden bisher nicht berücksichtigt. Die Effekte solcher Prozesse werden im Workpackage 3 zusammengeführt und sollen in den Baltic Sea Atlas eingebettet werden, wobei wenn möglich zwischen natürlichen und anthropogenen Effekten unterschieden werden soll.
