Information about the conference venue

HanseMesse - The Exhibition Centre in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania

In April 2002 the HanseMesse was opened as an international fair and exhibition centre with a total area of about 10 hectares (25 acres). The exhibition hall offers a variety of opportunities in Rostock for all types of events and functions.

An exceptional feature of the fair hall is the direct connection to the conference rotunda. Because of this, there are interesting opportunities for combining conferences and exhibitions.

The air-conditioned rotunda is a transparent conference building, surrounded by a colonnades roof and as well as a roofed over distance between the rotunda and the fair pavilion.

The rotunda offers modern technique of the highest level. In six conference rooms which can be partly combined up to 500 guests can be seated. In the plenary hall at the ground floor there is space for  more than 300 visitors. The conference foyer with additional four conference rooms in the upper floor can be reached via the central staircase or an elevator.
