Terms & conditions

Registration at the KüNO Spring School is free of charge and includes participation at the spring school programme, accomodation in single rooms and full catering. Travel costs can not be covered. The KüNO Spring School is planned as a face-to-face event. If the infection situation or other reasons do not allow an on-site implementation, the event will be conducted online as far as possible. There is no entitlement to participation (online or on-site). The organizers reserve the right to allow only persons vaccinated against COVID-19 or recovered from COVID-19 to participate at the spring school.

The KüNO Spring School is aimed at the early career scientists (PhD students & PostDocs) of the KüNO network and is limited to 20 participants. If the number of applicants exceeds this number, a selection will be made by the KüNO steering committee. Criteria to be considered for selection will be career level and motivation. Registration is possible until 15 November, 2021. All registered persons will receive information, whether their participation can be confirmed, by 30 November, 2021. If attendance must be cancelled, please notify the KüNO organization office immediately to allow for a move-up.

By registering, participants consent that they can be photographed during their attendance at the spring school. These pictures may be used or published at the discretion of the KüNO consortium for project purposes. If you do not want to be photographed, you are required to formally advise the KüNO organization office before the event.

With the registration, the collection of personal data is agreed. The personal data provided in the registration process, in particular name, address, telephone number, vaccination status, which are necessary and required solely for the purpose of carrying out this registration, are collected on the basis of legal authorization. The data will not be passed on to third parties. This consent can be revoked at any time.
